I have been a licensed Florida REALTOR since 2004 and have been a full-time resident of Bradenton, Florida since 1999. During my time in Bradenton I have purchased, remodeled and leased several homes in San Remo Shores subdivision. Before I moved permanently to Florida I was a resident of the wonderful state of Kentucky, where, for 25 years, I practiced real estate law and owned a title company.

Jim is a Business Broker.

During those 25 years of practicing law I also became a dedicated land developer and immersed myself in the construction, renovation and leasing of residential and commercial real estate. A Boston Native, John graduated from Northeastern University in Boston and received his MBA from Husson University in Bangor, Maine. After graduation he immediately spent time as an officer in the United States Army and lived throughout the Middle East in the early '90s. Upon returning to the United States he began his professional career in banking. John rose to Vice President in commercial banking for Citi Group before he joined his largest client's executive staff. John's business and management experience, and success, paired with his entrepreneurial spirit were inspirational for him to start his own business. Prior to joining Adkins Florida Group, he ran his own direct response advertising agency in Sarasota. John's agency represented various commercial interests from real estate investors and major petroleum companies to some of the largest financial institutions in America.

John has lived in both condominiums and single family homes in Sarasota. He recognizes that your home is the single most important purchase you will make, that affects your happiness. "I love the incredible number of lifestyle choices there are available for homes in Sarasota and Manatee counties, from townhouses and condominiums to single family homes, and from waterfront and golf course properties to serious tennis communities - I love them all." Mark Barish, has 15 years experience in IT, Business, Construction, Education and the Arts, and is proud to find continued success with the Adkins Florida Group.

Mark is the Administrator and Marketing Specialist for Residential/Commercial Auctions and Residential Sales Teams.

His supporting roles have previously included IT Systems Administrator, Construction Field Engineer, Computer Science College Teacher, Owner, and Artist Patron. Andrew Haddad is a 20 + year resident of Sarasota, FL where he actively works, plays, and engages in a multitude of community activities. After graduating in 2003 from the University of Florida, Andrew started his own business and operated a successful Landscape Construction and Design Company in Sarasota. FL.

From there he met the leaders of DiVosta and Pulte Homes, one of the Top 3 homebuilders in America where he began his career in Real Estate & New Home Sales. Andrew opened new communities along the west coast of Florida and finally assisted with the rollout of a new national sales training program.

After a successful career in New Home Sales, Andrew joined Keller Williams and has partnered with Adkins Florida Group and ARES (Accelerated Real Estate Services) to expand his business in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Andrew prides himself on excellent customer service and does whatever it takes to get the job done right. With his optimism, energy, and enthusiasm, Andrew Haddad is the new generation of Real Estate in SW Florida.

In his spare time Andrew enjoys boating, fishing, running, biking, and spending quality time with his family and network of friends and colleagues. Andrew also studies the ancient art of Okinawan Shuri-ryu Karatedo where he has been a student of West Coast Martial Arts Academy since 2005 and actively competes in triathlons and long distance running events.

Community Involvement: For the past 3 years Andrew has served as a Junior Achievement Volunteer, running educational seminars for students in five different Sarasota public schools, is a mentor at Girls Inc of Sarasota County and part of the Young Professionals Group of Sarasota. Having been in Real Estate since 1974 in Michigan, Phil became a Broker in Detroit, in 1978. In 1981 he moved to Texas and received his Texas Real Estate Broker License and worked for a developer in Austin. By 1983 he started a 14 year career in Mortgages rising to Vice President and Branch Manager for a Houston based Mortgage Company. In 1997, he opened his own and 14 years later, Phil Laing sold his Mortgage Company to his partners and joins us in Bradenton - with a Florida Real Estate License - feeling lucky to reside in such a terrific place helping buyers find the homes that fit their needs.
